Milano Graphic Festival is the first widespread event of Graphic Design, Illustration and Visual Cultures in Milan.
Milano Graphic Festival will give to the Visual Design community the opportunity to get out of a restricted environment of insiders, bringing visual communication to everyone – to the institutions, to businessess, to the new generations. An initiative strongly devoted to a spirit of participation that aims at reactivating energy and direct people and experiences towards visual design cultures, to appreciate their uniqueness and strategic value.
Starting from a much needed reflection on today’s role and responsibility of Visual Design, but always looking at its history, MGF mission will be to build bridges and synergies beetwen different worlds, both in terms of market and subject, always promoting inclusivity.
The Festival will not be focused on one topic only, it will live in the cross-contamination of different ones, giving the opportunity for confrontation and discussion: from urban renewal to gender identity, to education.
Milano Graphic Festival intends to become a catalyst for ideas and relations surrounding the world of visual communication. Its mission is to generate awareness and exchange while creating new connections between the business world and Italy’s top notch visual communicators. Not only does the festival shine a light on an art that is all-encompassing but it also underlines its fundamental role in the context of urban regeneration and its overall impact on citizen wellbeing.
