Certosa Graphic Village is a large industrial space of 3,000 square meters in the new Certosa District that will be dedicated mainly to young people and contemporary creativity. The Generation YZ exhibition is a performance workshop that will involve young graphic designers under 30 working on a special urban graphics project. Young talents will also be the protagonists of the Neologia exhibition curated by Graphic Days®, and of the exhibition project dedicated to the designers and illustrators of the independent Frankenstein Magazine. The Certosa Graphic Village will also host a number of exhibitions dedicated to the masters of visual design, such as the one on John Alcorn, curated by Marta Sironi, which focuses on works produced from the early 1970s in America and Italy, and the one on Albe Steiner with a selection of his most representative posters, curated by Anna Steiner, Franco and Matteo Origoni. The Village will also be the place dedicated to meetings, experiences and research: talks with Italian and international designers, project rooms, thematic lectures, performances and workshops will animate the space in a rich program. Guest of honor for the evening of Saturday, March 26 Paola Antonelli, Senior Curator of the architecture and design section of the MoMA Museum of Modern Art in New York, who will hold a meeting focused on the role of visual design today.
